This stunning 4 bedroom villa hosting up to 10 guests was built in 2000 to extremely high standards throughout. The villa is set in 2 acres of land and has spectacular views of the Algarve. There is a tropical garden, grassed lawns and a large heated swimming pool, together with dining terraces and a dedicated barbecue patio. The villa has automatic security gates and shutters and has a burglar alarm. The property is air conditioned through-out as well as having under floor central heating.

El Dourado is situated about a 15 minute drive from Faro, and within 1 hours of the Spanish border, 2 hours from Seville and 2 hours from Lisbon via the new motorway. Santa Barbara itself is a lovely village with supermarkets and great restaurants and bars. The beaches and world class golf courses are situated within a 15 minute drive. Outside: The villa is set in 2 acres of land with its own secure and automated gate system. Tropical gardens and grassed lawns surround the property which has stunning views across the Algarvian coastline. The pool is approximately 11m x 5m with a dedicated barbecue and sun lounge area with loungers for 8 people. The outside dining patio also caters for 8 people, and has an automatic awning for those who would like to keep in the shade. Utility Room: Fully fitted with sink, washing machine, dryer machine. Cleaning / (beach/pool) Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Maid service once weekly (additional at a charge).

Golf

Renowned for its golf courses, the Algarve has a huge range. Green fees vary between courses, so it is worth shopping around to get the best deal. The Sir Henry Cotton Championship course (18 holes, par 73) at Penina Hotel & Golf Resort, the first course built in the region, remains extremely popular and has two notorious holes – the dogleg fifth, with its canal and lake, and the 13th, shadowed by water from tee to green. Green fees for two players and a buggy are around €110 per person.

Beach

The Algarve, Portugal’s southernmost region, is known for its Mediterranean beaches. Whitewashed fishing villages on low cliffs overlooking sandy coves were transformed in the 1960s, and now its central coast between Lagos and Faro is lined with villas, hotels, bars and restaurants. The region's western Atlantic coast and rugged interior are less developed.

Cultural 

Portugal is a country with a rich culture, but you will find out that each region has its own particularities. This is certainly the case with the Algarve, where you can see people’s way of living through their arts and music and confirm how different they are from other Portuguese regions.
Nowadays, one can still see the Moorish influences and the legacy of five centuries of Arab rule. Just look for the narrow streets and chimneys with the most varied shapes and designs.

Yacht Charter

Spend a day on the water, including deep-sea fishing, reef fishing and cruises along the coastline, exploring caves and secluded beaches. The choice of transport ranges from large catamarans to smaller yachts and cruises begin at Vilamoura Marina. Make stopsto swim and dive as well as venturing into some of the more impressive caves.
